We offer professional, personal, quality health care
Physical touch has long been proven to be one of the most powerful tools in assisting the healing process; whether it be physical, emotional or mental. The therapeutic benefits of Massage Therapy include; stabilizing blood pressure, decrease in the frequency and/or intensity of headaches, decreased pain, increased range of motion, decreased stress, decreased tension, increased lymphatic drainage, decreased inflamation, decreased stress hormones and increased confidence. These are just a few of the benefits we can offer you.
It is our intention at SATORI to offer you the highest quality health care. All of our Registered Massage Therapists have graduated from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and both Stephanie and Courtney have been instructors at the College since graduation. We are all active members in good standing with the Association of New Brunswick Massage Therapists, and Stephanie Guitar is the former Examination Chair for this association.
In your first visit, you can expect to have a thorough physical assessment with your RMT, based on the information you provide in completing our health history form. Please note that our privacy policy prevents us from releasing any of your personal information without written signed consent from you. Your RMT will then determine a treatment plan based on her assessment, and use manual therapy techniques including but not limited to Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, Craniosacral therapy, and myofascial release. The entire treatment procedure is at all times within your control; you can choose to stop or alter treatment at any time. Upon completion of your treatment, your RMT may prescribe particular home care exercise and/or hydrotherapy for you. Your first visit will be 1.5 hours in duration, and following visits are 45 minute appointments, booked on the hour.
Please note: we offer direct billing to Blue Cross for those whose plans allow it. We do not direct bill other insurance companies.
Cost: Initial Assesssment ~ 1.5 hr. $113.00 (HST included)
